Although the calendar includes a large number of settings, we've made it as easy to configure as possible. This documentation will guide you through everything you need to know.
Create a calendar
To create a new calendar, navigate to the Calendars page in the administration area, then click the Add a new calendar button at the top of the list.
After creating a new calendar, you need to select its availability type from the list provided: days, nights, hours, or hour intervals. This setting defines how long your service can be booked, ranging from several days to just a few minutes.
- Days - each booking represents one or more full calendar days, making it ideal for daily rentals or services.
- Nights - bookings are counted by overnight stays, typically used for accommodations such as hotels or lodges.
- Hours - allows bookings to be made for specific time durations, making it ideal for hourly services such as appointments or equipment rentals.
- Hour intervals - allow you to define specific time blocks (for example, 08:00-10:00 or 14:00-16:00) that users can select, providing precise control over when bookings can start and end.
Calendar setup
The setup will help you to configure basic settings to have a calendar that will accept reservations. You can change or edit these settings later in calendar's administration area.
