Path / Administration areaPassive extensionsDiscountsThe discount extension can be used to subtract an amount from the standard booking price. Discounts are useful for attracting more customers, promoting specific time periods, rewarding longer stays, or offering seasonal promotions.
Create a discount
To create a new discount, navigate to the Discount page in the administration area, then click the Add a new discount button at the top of the list.

1NameAdd or change the name of the discount. Only you can view this, and it is intended for administration purposes.2Enable translationEnable this option to display translation settings for all discount fields that support it.3LabelEdit this field to create a label for your discount. This is what your clients will see.3aLabel translationEnter the translated version of the label. To select the language you want to translate, click or tap the flag icon next to it. This is the label your clients will see when they choose that language.4Value typeSelect whether the value is fixed or a percent of the total amount.4aPercent valueEnter the percentage value that will be calculated from the current total amount. Enter the price.4bPromo percentEnter the promotional percentage value that will be calculated from the current total amount.4cValueEnter the value. Enter the price.4dPromo valueEnter a promotional value. This price will be displayed next to the original value, which will be crossed out, for comparison.5ApplyThis setting determines how the value will be applied. It can be applied once or over a set time period, specified in days or minutes.5aPeriod size (days/minutes)This field will only appear if you choose to apply the value based on a time period. Enter a number to set the duration, in days or minutes, for which the value will be applied.6Display discount information in the reservation/extension details.When enabled, the discount information will be displayed in the booking details for your clients to see; if disabled, it will remain hidden from them.
