Shortcodes
You can add the booking system in your WordPress content, like many other plugins, using a shortcode.
Calendar shortcode
To display the booking calendar please use the following shortcode:
[dopbsp id=1]
The attribute id is the ID of the calendar you want to add on your page/post. In the example above we inserted into our content the calendar with ID 1.
Search shortcode
To display a search item on your page please use the following shortcode:
[dopbsp item=search id=1]
The attribute id is the ID of the search item you created in WordPress back end, in the Pinpoint Booking System Search section.
Search widget shortcode
To display a search widget item on your page, please use the following shortcode:
[dopbsp item=search-widget id=1]
The attribute id is the ID of the search item you created in WordPress back end, in the Pinpoint Booking System Search section.
This shortcode will redirect you to the first calendar with availability. It will search for availability only in the calendars included in the search item with the ID from the shortcode (in this case 1).
[dopbsp item=search-widget id=1 redirect_id=123]
The attribute id is the ID of the search item you created in WordPress back end, in the Pinpoint Booking System Search section.
The attribute redirect_id is the POST ID of your existing Search page.
This shortcode will redirect you to the search page and will display all the results of your search.
Change language
To change the booking calendar language please use the following shortcode:
[dopbsp id=1 lang=fr]
The attribute lang is the code of the language you want to use. The default value is en (English). In the example above we inserted into our content the calendar with the French translation.
You can have the same calendar with different translations. For example, if you are using a translation plugin like WPML, and you have 2 translations, German and French, you can add the shortcode:
[dopbsp id=1 lang=de]
in German content, and the shortcode:
[dopbsp id=1 lang=fr]
in French content.
