Client had old 2.0.7 from Dot On Paper/Envato. Just bought new license and tried to upgrade.

    Steps taken:

Download OLD version, delete from website.

Upload New Version 2.8.4 and activate.

    Receive the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot access empty property in /nas/content/staging/websitenamehere/wp-content/plugins/dopbsp_/application/models/settings/model-settings-calendar.php on line 199

I've currently deactivated the plugin to continue working on website.

Note: I am unable to provide CPANEL or PHPMYADMIN login since website is hosted on WPENGINE.

    Hello,

This issue is most probably caused by the database and we will need access to fix it. Pinpoint v2.0.7 is a very old version and since then the table structure inside database has changed.

    Hello,

The database provided have the old tables from the old version of the plugin. If you would like to update the Pinpoint version in your live website, please provide also ftp and wp-admin credentials for the live version. If you want me to update only the staging environment I cannot do this without accessing the database for that installation.
Please be advised that the availability of your calendars may be lost during update, being a such old version.

I have already provided SFPT information, wp-admin, and access to WPEngine for database access. I don’t know what else you want me to give you. This is urgent and it’s been days now.

    Hello,

FTP credentials seems to be invalid as I cannot use them to login. Please check again and update them.

Also in your previous email you said that we shouldn't make any modifications to your live site, but the database you provided I assume is for live and not for staging. The same with wp-admin credentials which are for staging and not for live.
So, should we make the changes to your staging or live website? If it's for staging please provide staging credentials and if it's for live, please provide live credentials.

Are you connecting via FTP or SFTP? Connect with SFTP port number is 2222. The SFTP login I created works for me.

Everything I have provided is for staging but since you have access to WPEngine account you now have access to live site too.

I managed to connect using the port provided.

When I login to WPEngine, I only see the Live version of your website and the database associated (snapshot_huapoca). Where should I look for the staging?

I am reopening this. None of the settings are saving. I created a new calendar and it's not saving that calendar's settings either.
