The taxes extension is very similar to the fees extension, but for management purposes and for better control, taxes are separated from fees. That is why we recommend you use it for the charges that are not within your control or do not depend on the services you provide like sums that go to the government (VAT tax, tourism tax and others).
The software is in BETA and some feature aren't available at the moment or may be subject to change.
Main Settings
Once you have created a tax extension, you can customise it in the configuration section. Main settings incorporate three tabs: ‘applied to’ that can be used to link the tax to one or more calendars, ‘actions’ which can be used to delete or duplicate it and ‘main data’ which contains the following:
1NomeEdit this field to change the name of the tax. Only you can see this name.2EtiquetaEdit this field to create a label for your tax. This is the name your clients will see.3Tipo de valorSelect whether the number is a fixed price or percent of the reservation. The default type is percent value.4For fixed value you have the following settings:4AValorType in the fixed value that will be added or subtracted. Only number characters and ‘.’ are allowed. By default, the value is 0.4BValor promocionalAdd a promotional value if needed.4CAplicarThis will determine how many times the tax will apply. It can be applied only once or by period (per day, hour etc). By default, it will apply once.4DTamanho do período (dias/minutos)This input will be displayed only if you select to apply the value by period. Type in the number to set the frequency by days or minutes. The default value is 1.4EAlternarIf enabled, the value will multiply with the number of selected items. By default, the toggle is disabled.5For percent value you have the following settings:5AValor percentualType in the percent value that will be added or subtracted. Only numbers and ‘.’ are allowed. By default, the value is 0.5BPercentagem de promoçãoAdd a promotional percent value if needed.6AlternarIf enabled, the tax will be included in the reservation price. By default, this toggle is disabled.7AlternarIf enabled, the tax information will be included in the reservation details. By default, this toggle is enabled.
