The fees extension can be used anytime you provide a service, facility etc in exchange for a price, which will then be added to the booking total cost. It can be applied daily, hourly and it can be calculated based on other services or products your clients will add to the booking request. The fee is very similar to the tax extension. You can create a new fee by accessing the passive extensions menu > fees and by pressing the ‘add’ button from the list.
The software is in BETA and some feature aren't available at the moment or may be subject to change.
Main Settings
Once you have created a fee, you can customize it in the configuration section. Main settings include three tabs, ‘main data’, ‘applied to’ and ‘actions’. The ‘main data’ tab incorporates the following settings:
1NomeEdit this field to change the name of the fee. Only you can see this name.2EtiquetaEdit this field to create a label for your fee. This is what your clients will see.3OperaçãoSelect if the number will be added or subtracted from the reservation\’s total price. By default, the value is set to be added to the price.5Tipo de valorSelect whether the number is a fixed value or percent of the reservation. The default type is percent value.6For the fixed value you have the following settings:6AValor do preçoType in the fixed value that will be added or subtracted. Only number characters and ‘.’ are allowed. By default, the value is 0.6BPreço promocionalAdd a promotional value if needed. It will be displayed as a discount.6CAplicarThis will determine how many times the value will apply. It can be applied only once or by period (per day, hour etc). By default, it will apply once.6DTamanho do período (dias/minutos)This input will be displayed only if you select to apply the value by period. Type in the number to set the frequency by days or minutes. The default value is 1.4EAlternarWhen enabled, it will multiply the price with the number selected by your clients. By default, the toggle is disabled.7For percent value you have the following settings:7AValor percentualType in the percent value that will be added or subtracted. Only numbers and ‘.’ are allowed. By default, the value is 0.7BPercentagem de promoçãoAdd a promotional percent value if needed. It will be displayed as a discount.5EAlternarWhen enabled, it will include the fee in the reservation or the extension price. By default, this toggle is disabled.5EAlternarWhen enabled, it will display the fee information in the reservation details for your clients to see. By default, this toggle is enabled.
Advance Settings
The second tab in the main settings, ‘applied to’ can be used to link the fee to one or more calendars. Additionally, a fee can be applied to other extensions as well. The third tab, ‘actions’ is used to delete or duplicate the item. Advanced settings for fees include custom values, availability, schedule and conditions.
