The deposits extension is very similar to down payments but for better management and control, they are separated. This extension can be very useful when your clients book for your products or services because it is like a promise that their intentions are serious. If your clients agree to pay a deposit you have a guarantee they will show up and also pay for the difference.

The software is in BETA and some feature aren't available at the moment or may be subject to change.

Main Settings

Once you have created a deposits extension, you can customize it in the configuration section. Main settings incorporate three tabs: ‘applied to’ that can be used to link the deposit component to one or more calendars, ‘actions’ which can be used to delete or duplicate it and ‘main data’ which contains the following:

1NomeEdit this field to change the name of the deposit. Only you can see this name.2EtiquetaEdit this field to create a label for your deposit. This is the name your clients will see.3Tipo de valorSelect whether the number is a fixed price or percent value. The default type is fixed value.4For fixed value, you have the following settings:4AValor do preçoType in the fixed value for the deposit. Only number characters and ‘.’ are allowed. By default, the value is 0.4BPreço promocionalAdd a promotional value if needed.4CAplicarThis will determine how many times the deposit will apply. It can be applied only once or by period (per day, hour etc). By default, it will apply once.4DTamanho do período (dias/minutos)This input will be displayed only if you select to apply the value by period. Type in the number to set the frequency by days or minutes. The default value is 1.4EAlternarIf enabled, the value will be multiplied with the number of selected items. By default, the toggle is disabled.5For percent value, you have the following settings:5AValor percentualType in the percent value for the deposit. Only numbers and ‘.’ are allowed. By default, the value is 0.5BPercentagem de promoçãoAdd a promotional percent value if needed.

Advance Settings

The component is very straightforward, all you need to do is to create a deposit, set a value and link it to the calendar or the extension where you want it to apply (you may also apply it to products or services).
